Keep your kids engaged in the Arts! Did you know that the Department of Education has proven that children involved in the the arts are better equipped to communicate effectively, think creatively, problem solve and work successfully with others than those who don't? Through the discipline and creativity of the visual and perfoming arts, we foster an appreciation of the arts, self confidence and teach children valuable life skills. To that end, Allens Lane Art Center is proud to announce our new after school program for children in grades K - 7.
Fall Semester Session: September 5 - December 22, 2017.
The program runs from 3:00 - 6:00pm. We understand that different schools let out at different times so buses and parents/guardians can drop off their child as soon as they can arrive as our program is designed with this in mind.
Parents who fail to pick up their children after 6:10pm will be charged for after-care. The late fee for picking up your child is $10 for every 5 minutes you are late in picking up your child after 6:10pm.
Currently, we do not have transportation available for this program. Parents can instruct their child's school bus to drop them off at the Center. Parents with children from similar schools are encouraged to car-pool.
We will also offer additional hours starting at noon for all Philadelphia School based half-days. There is an additional charge of $35 for parent who wish to have their children participate in the additional half-day programming. Otherwise children can be dropped off at the normal 3:00pm start time. 1/2 days are included for children registered for the Month or the Full Fall Session.
Parents may sign up their children by the Week, Month or Full Fall Session. You can register your child by submitting the registration form below. You can also call us at 215-248-0546 and we can register you over the phone. Please fill out this form seperately for each child you wish to register. After you submit this form, you will see a link to register additional children. You will also automatically receive an email confirmation of our registration. Please keep this email for your records. If you are having trouble with this online form, please call us at 215-248-0546 and we will help you make your registration. This form does not automatically make charges to your credit card. Someone in our office will double-check your registration information before any charges are placed.
There is a discounted rate when parents choose registering for the Monthly or Full Fall Session as compared to the weekly rate. If you register per month, you will save $330 per month (as opposed to registering weekly). If you register for the Full Fall Session, you will save over $1340 (as opposed to registering weekly)
We offer pro-rated fees only on those days where Philadelphia School District Closures are scheduled. Pro-Rated Fees only apply for weekly registrations.
Parents interested in additional activites of Vocal Technique, Drumming and Tennis may inquire with the After-School Director (Sherry Ashton) at the beginning of each session. Additional fees may apply for some of these special additional activites.
