Technology Volunteer wanted for short-term project
Allens Lane Art Center is searching for a technology volunteer to help re-code a small number of form pages. Because of SSL security updates, we need to upgrade our form pages. The content and fields of the forms are not changing. We are just in need of someone who can volunteer their time to help us make this switch. For a person with good coding skills, this should only take a couple of days. Please contact us to set up an appointment so that we can discuss the project in detail: Craig Stover, Executive Director, firstname.lastname@example.org or call 215-248-0546. - Thank you.

On the eve of his show being picked up for national syndication, Cleveland's talk radio "Shock Jock", Barry Champlain, searches his soul and the phone lines for a caller with something real to say, the one caller who will make him feel like his time on the air really means something. Will tonight be the night he finds what he is looking for? Or will he become what he fears most, just another blow-hard celebrity who likes the sound of his own voice?

MI-KYOUNG LEE Bubble Feb. 19 - Mar. 19, 2016
M - F, 10am - 5pm
Free and open to the public
Mi-Kyoung Lee's installation in the Alber Gallery transforms the space into an other-worldly encounter of imaginative floating forms. She's easily able to breathe life into the space within her sculptures while at the same time making these massive natural forms that tend to dominate the space in an almost spiritual way. As the artist has been quoted, "The consistent process of art making is ritual ceremony. My entire body and soul purely united. The inspiration behind my images unfolds with the mysterious human life."
Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 @ 7pm, Free
Saturday Night Gallery Cocktail Reception and Fundraiser:

THE LEIBERMAN GALLERY @ SETTLEMENT MUSIC SCHOOL - GERMANTOWN BRANCH
Beth Castiglione Jan. 11 - Feb. 19, 2016
Reception: Jan. 23@ 2pm
Mon - Thur, 10am - 4pm
Free and open to the public
Join us at Allens Lane Art Center's Satellite Gallery at Settlement Music School in Germantown as we celebrate the beautiful artwork of Philadelphia-based artist Frederic Kaplan. Elizabeth Castiglione's recent painted collages, "Landscape of Memory," explore the fluid, dynamic process of memory by linking and layering disparate scenes from her life to create new images. Her hope is that through this process the images acquire a sense of universality, a sense of both the loss and the beauty inherent in the passage of time. She received her B.A. from Yale University and her M.F.A. from the University of Washington. She lives in Philadelphia with her husband and two sons. Learn more at www.elizabethcastiglione.com.
