Land Explorations in the Wissahickon
Join fellow nature lovers and creative art makers to explore the wild wooded acres and open fields in the Wissahickon. Become inspired by the land, rocks, creek, and plant life to create temporal artworks with natural materials. Participants will be introduced to artists whose work with nature celebrates the beauty of the land and encourages stewardship of the natural environment. Each workshop will begin with instructor-led assignments and activities that will encourage dialogue and generate ideas. Each student will have time and support to develop individual site-responsive works of art that can interact with the surroundings.
