Class Description: Children will explore a variety of art mediums to create wonderful works of expressive art. We'll start a journal of our ideas and observations from the world around us. Mediums for exploration will include clay, collage, printmaking, paper-mache, and works on paper.

About the Instructor: Zipora is a figurative artist and illustrator who graduated from School of Visual Arts in NYC along with studies in painting, printmaking, and sculpture at Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts. She has taught art in public and private schools for about 20 years and is currently teaching a few classes at ALAC. For several years, she coordinated storytellings and art projects for humane education at various libraries and schools. She believes in the power of all the arts to communicate and educate; to elicit joy and deep change in the individual and society.
