Teen Theater Mentor Program

Teen Theater Mentorship Program

Our new teen mentorship program is designed to attract young theater crew members who will assist our theater in the production of its programming, learn valuable skill sets, foster a love and understanding of theater, and encourage a new generation of arts-engaged constituents.

Seeking local area Jr and Sr High School age students, 12 years old and up to be mentored, and trained by theater professionals in the areas of Theatrical Lighting, Sound, Stage Crew, and Stage Management.

Allens Lane has been providing opportunities like this for youth since 2016 through our theater productions, and now are pleased to offer a more formal program for training young technical theater participants.

Our Technical Theater Coordinator Rachel Cline (BA in Professional Communication & Theater Studies), will lead this program, offering personalized instruction throughout the process of working on productions and events throughout the Allens Lane Theater season.

There is no charge for youth to participate in this program.

Interested students, ages 12+ should fill out the following form with a parent or guardian to be considered for this program. Once submitted you will be contacted with more information for participating.
