Camp Director Summer 2026

Allens Lane Art Center seeks an experienced and collaborative Camp Director to lead our arts-based
summer camp program. This role provides full leadership of camp operations, including staff supervision,
program implementation, camper safety, and family communication. The position begins part-time in spring for hiring and planning and transitions to full-time during the 8-week summer camp season. Assistant Camp Director Summer 2026

Allens Lane Art Center seeks a collaborative and organized Assistant Camp Director to support the
leadership of our arts-based summer camp program. This role works closely with the Camp Director to
implement programming, supervise staff, oversee the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program and aftercare,
ensure camper safety, and maintain strong communication with families. The position begins part-time in

Summer Camp Teaching Artist 2026

Allens Lane Art Center is seeking energetic, dependable, and accountable Assistant Teaching Artists to join our Summer Art Camp team. Summer Camp program from June 15–August 7 (no camp on June 19 or July 3), held Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00–3:00 PM. We are currently seeking instructors in Ceramics, Theater & Storytelling, Studio Art (2D), and Mixed Media/Sculpture who are skilled artists and passionate educators committed to creating a collaborative, fun, and safe environment for campers. Summer Camp Teaching Artists play an essential role in building a positive camp culture and are expected to work closely with camp staff to support students and one another. Summer Camp Assistant Teaching Artist 2026

We are hiring experienced, energetic Teaching Artists to lead specialty arts classes during our 8-week Summer Camp program from June 15–August 7 (no camp on June 19 or July 3), held Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00–3:00 PM. This is a hands-on role in a creative, fast-paced environment. Assistant Teaching Artists help create a fun, safe, and inclusive space where young artists can thrive. In addition to supporting classroom instruction and leading groups during transitions and breaks, they are responsible for actively supervising, engaging, and caring for campers throughout the day. Assistant Teaching Artists are expected to be attentive and present at all times. The Creative Internship Training Program

The Creative Internship Training (CIT) Program at Allens Lane Art Center is a paid summer opportunity for high school students ages 14–16 to gain hands-on experience in arts education and media arts. CITs earn a $150 weekly stipend, receive 20 volunteer hours for school credit, participate in creative workshops and studio time, and attend exclusive networking and career-building events—plus receive a reference letter from the Camp Director. A minimum four-week commitment is required (six or more weeks preferred). Experience working with children ages 5–12 and strong interests in the arts, education, or community are a plus.
