han@allenslane.orgHan McCoy received a BA in art history from Tyler School of Art at Temple University and an MA in art history from Lindenwood University. His academic research highlights the Black figure in early modern art, while his career has been shaped by working with modern and contemporary artists. McCoy’s professional endeavors have been supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and the Samuel H. Kress Foundation, and he has held positions at the Philadelphia Art Museum and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. As an artist, Han explores book-making through the lens of sustainability and creates collage pieces that reflect the complicated, intersectional identities within him as an individual.
