Support the arts in your community!
For over 70 years, Allens Lane Art Center has cultivated the transformative power of the arts to engage and inspire our diverse community. Your tax-deductible contribution of any size helps sustain our work and ensures access to the arts to all – regardless of ability to pay – who wish to share, learn, exhibit, and perform.
This year we have started the 70th Anniversary Fund that will help support several essential programs, events, and future initiatives.
- In collaboration with West Mount Airy Neighbors, we are hosting a free public art festival on September 9th at Allens Lane Park to celebrate the arts in Northwest Philadelphia and our 70th!
- In September of 2023, we will host a Children’s Art Exhibition to showcase artwork by young artists throughout the Northwest.
- In 2023-24, we will expand our off-site programs at Stenton Family Manor, a housing emergency shelter, where our teaching artists will provide hands-on weekly afterschool activities in ceramics, painting, drawing, collage, and more!
- Next year, we plan to expand our performing arts events to include music, comedy, spoken word, and lectures set in our historic Cafe Theater.
A gift of any size will help support the artists and performers participating in the Mt. Airy Arts Festival, the Children’s Art Exhibition, and all the impactful arts programming we provide year-round for our community.
