Blackburn Theatrical Productions, LLC under the direction of Noël Butcher Hanley, will hold understudy auditions for its non-union world premiere production of
The Trouble with Harry
on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Allens Lane Theater in the Mt. Airy Section of northwest Philadelphia.
Production dates are Thursday, April 4 through Saturday, April 20, 2024, with rehearsals beginning Sunday, February 25, 2024.
The company seeks understudies for the following roles:
1 female 25-35
1 male 25-35
1 female 50 – 80
1 male 50 – 80
1 child 4-8

Auditions are by appointment only and will be scheduled upon review of submitted photos and resumes.
Please prepare a 1-2 minute modern monologue.
A small stipend will be offered at the end of the run.
The Trouble with Harry is a new play based on the novel by Jack Trevor Story, which also served as the basis for the 1955 Alfred Hitchcock film of the same name.
It was adapted for the stage by Josh Hitchens, with the production devised and directed by Noël Butcher Hanley.
