Instructor: Astia Carrega

Astia Carrega is a mixed media artist. Their journey with textiles began in 2008 focusing in batik and continued into ice dying, rust dying, fabric cyanotypes, chemical and natural dying, and shibori techniques. 2017 until present day they work with the fibers artist Dianne Koppish as a studio and teaching assistant. Their fibers work consists of wall hangings and installations.
